Pambamarca Horseback Ride

With the permission of the indigenous community high in the Andes we can take horses from the valley below into this historic area to camp among the remains of the pre-Inca hill forts that make this area one of the leading undiscovered historic sites of South America.  While not spectacular the extensive building lines of the hill forts and defensive walls are impressive, and with the local communities still living in the same way that they have for generations, this ride will give you a deep feeling for the history of the Indian people of the Andes.
