Horseback Adventures What better way to get to know Ecuador than from the saddle of a horse? Introduced by the Spanish Conquistadors, horses are still a principal means of transport for a large part of the rural population. Riding through areas of outstanding natural beauty and history and staying in haciendas, village hostals or tents at night, you will come close to the lives that most of the local and indigenous people of Ecuador live. We can supply all sorts of horses from ‘cavallos de paseo’ to the quietest pony or horse for the beginner, western saddles and tack. Your trip will be accompanied by bilingual expert riding guides, and grooms so you can enjoy the stops as much as the rides! |
